This is the title track to my latest album Lover, which itself is part of the double album duo “Lover” and “Loser”. The song is a journey through my childhood, my relationship with my parents, and dreams of making it. I was super lucky to be able to work with the most talented videographer and director in San Antonio, Aiden Esquivel, who brought the vision of the video to life. I also am really happy that I could include my family in the video because without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Jerumy, who produced mixed and mastered the track, and Lil Wigg, who sang backing vocals, killed their contributions to the track and definitely made it what it is. This is the purest expression of who I am that I’ve ever put to music, and it serves as the perfect embodiment of what the Lover album has to offer and what I have to offer as an artist. I hope everyone enjoys it!
