Did jail change Soulja Boy?
After spending three months behind bars, Soulja Boy is reportedly making some big changes in his life. TMZ reports that the rapper is shrinking his social circle and shying away from social media.
Being locked up has apparently been an “eye-opener” and made him rethink his lifestyle. Since his return home, he’s been cutting people out of his life and cutting back on his social media usage. He hasn’t posted on Twitter or Instagram since his release on July 14.
Soulja Boy is also keeping a closer inner circle and has kicked a bunch of people out of his house in Agoura Hills, CA after it was burglarized while he was in jail. $500,000 in cash, jewelry, and his iPhone were stolen. Soulja is convinced that it was an inside job.
The 28-year-old rapper was released from jail 146 days early due to good behavior, time served, and overcrowding. He had originally been sentenced to 240 days in jail and 265 days of community service for violating his probation in April.
